Smart = Educational

• Overall, the dental profession is failing the public...
• Dental Problems are nearly, completely preventable, yet they are rampant...
• Over your lifetime, what we can do for your mouth matters little compared to the care you perform or don't perform on a daily basis.

• So... we take the time to complete an extensive "plaque hunt" with every patient, to show precisely where bacteria (plaque) are missed when cleaning the mouth each day and the real secrets and tricks, with just the simplest tools, to getting the job done correctly.
• Our Patients are also taught exactly how bacteria (plaque) are responsible for virtually all damage and disease of the teeth and gums.
• We teach and explain about tarter (hard mineral buildup).
• And when needed, we also very clearly and simply explain the two parts of gum disease, the "reversible part", gum damage and the "irreversible part", bone damage and how to stop and correct the damage.
